Survey Says: Apple & RIM - Good, Palm - Very Bad …
Amazing! I’ve only spent very little time playing with iPhone or BlackBerry device but neither seemed to fit my needs (for very different reasons!)
I wonder where Windows Mobile (or per device manufacturer HTC, HP etc) would fit in this chart… I for one is very happy with the functionality of the devices/platform but the WM platform could use a UI facelift :-) and battery life could be better….
.... And what happened to Palm?

We know it’s probably going to be pretty hard to believe this, but according to a recent survey of mobile phone users, Palm ranks absolutely last in customer satisfaction. If you believe what the folks at ChangeWave Research have to say (and the 4,182 people they questioned), only 30-percent of Palm users reported being “very satisfied” with their device, while companies like Apple and RIM garnered 72-percent and 55-percent, respectively.
More grim news for Palm - not a very good chart to be at the bottom of.
One of the questions that springs to mind for me when seeing these results, is why isn’t Nokia doing much, much better? The top two - by a fair distance - are Apple and RIM - both companies that provide ‘the whole package’ - the hardware, software, OS etc. Nokia is in the same boat - they do the hardware, they use their own Symbian OS - they should really be able to get right up there with the two leaders, don’t you think?
