OneBridge

CDO anbefaling i OneBridge server miljø mod Exchange

OneBridge currently recommends CDO to be installed using the stand alone version of CDO/MAPI distribution ExchangeMAPICdo.exe. Microsoft has recently released an updated version of this which includes the support for new
US DST periods. After installing this version of CDO, OneBridge users may get an error code 0x8004011d when running adapter tests. Sync or push will not work properly.

This is being caused by a possible bug in Emsmdb32.dll distributed in this version. By replacing this dll with a dll from a previous version fixes this issue. A copy of this file can be found on the Microsoft Exchange 2003 CD.

All files installed with the latest timezone support have a date 12/21/2006 and version 6.5.7888.0

The correct version of Emsmdb32.dll has date 5/30/2006 and version 6.5.7830.0.

The files are normally installed in the \Windows\System32
folder. (Most likely Windows\System32 or Winnt\System32).

Follow the steps below to fix the issue.

1) Stop the OneBridge service.
2) Copy the Emsmdb32.dll version 6.5.7830.0 into Windows\System32 folder.
3) Start the OneBridge service.

NOTE: If CDO was installed using a Exchange 2003 system manager, apply the timezone updates using Exchange 2003 Server patch for timezone support from Microsoft. This method does not exhibit any problems.
